Park Nicollet Commemorative Grove
The Park Nicollet Commemorative Grove is a tranquil oasis located on the Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital campus in St. Louis Park, Minnesota. Nestled beside the beautifully restored Minnehaha Creek and the Frauenshuh Cancer Center, this serene space has become a cherished spot for visitors, staff, and wildlife alike.
Landform designed and constructed the garden as part of a broader initiative to enhance the hospital campus. The Commemorative Grove is a tranquil, living, seasonal space dedicated to individuals impacted by COVID-19. Comprised of native oak and poplar trees, this space provides a retreat for patients, visitors and staff, fostering a connection with nature.
Since its inception, Landform’s Retail & Commercial Studio has continued to offer our award-winning and published landscape architecture and civil engineering services to maintain and enhance the garden. Each spring, they provide consulting services to guide the upkeep and introduce new elements, such as donated plaques or sculptures. A recent addition to the grove includes six thriving lady slipper plants, further enriching this beautiful and restorative space.
