The Preserve at Oakview
Landform provided Site to Finish® services for the Preserve at Oak View development in Andover. Nestled in a rural estate area, this 30-acre development is tucked into the woods where preservation of natural resources including trees and wetlands were a high priority.
This Low-Impact-Design (LID) development was new and unique to the rural area of Andover and through the Planned Unit Development (PUD) process, has varying acreage lot sizes that are unconventional for the zoning district to provide the most usable upland area for development while preserving the best natural resources on the site.
The challenges of this development include the new LID design techniques, the PUD rezoning process, collaboration with City staff and elected officials and the care and time needed to evaluate the site amenities to make this one of a kind development.
