The COR at Ramsey
Landform lead a re-visioning effort and provided development management for the former “Ramsey Town Center”, a 322-acre urban mixed-use development anchored by the Municipal Center and a commuter rail transit station.
Work included an analysis of the existing development plans prior to the City acquisition, conducting stakeholder meetings to gather feedback and preparation and presentation of a revised master plan.
Site design challenges included minimizing vehicular and pedestrian movement conflicts while managing a sensitive interaction between surface and ground water.
The COR at Ramsey was one of two TIF requests granted by the Legislature after review of 100 requests.
Renewed energy around The COR at Ramsey sparked a national interest in the development, resulting in a number of new projects.
