Maple Grove Library Assessment
A relatively new library in the Hennepin County system was experiencing early issues in their exterior design, including poorly ageing materials and a gap in the maintenance of the extensive landscaping.
Landform analyzed the site to determine needed renovations and to better align the site with the available maintenance budget. Our team proposed a two-pronged approach to address issues in a timely way.
First, we organized a maintenance manual to assist site managers in communication with maintenance contractors. Second, we summarized site issues, prioritized them, and estimated costs for potential solutions.
The result of the project is clearer communication with maintenance contractors, a template manual for sites system-wide, prioritized projects for the Capital Improvements Planning budget, and an economically and environmentally sustainable site.
