Hugo 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update

n 2017 Landform was asked to lead Hugo’s 2040 Comprehensive Plan Update. Landform worked with City staff, the City’s consulting engineer,
Council members, commissioners, and community members to identify strengths, weakness, opportunities, and obstacles that stand in the way of the community achieving their goals. Using community feedback and GIS, Landform successfully updated the Comprehensive Plan and helped the community define their vision for the next 20 years.
The Comprehensive Plan is a guide that defines the goals and visions of a community. The plan provides direction for a number of policy areas including land use, transportation, parks, housing, and others.
The Comprehensive Plan identifies short- and long-term strategies to work towards achieving the community’s vision. It serves as a guide for future decisions on both public and private investment within the community. The 2040 Comprehensive Plan was adopted by the City in 2019.
